In the last 14 days if you have: travelled outside Australia, have been in close contact with a person confirmed to have COVID-19, have been in a Melbourne 'hotspot' suburb, or are experiencing acute respiratory illness, or if you have visited any of the NSW Health identified COVID-19 case locations (within their associated dates) you are requested not to attend Clinical Placement. Please contact your Program Convenor to discuss.

Students are advised to keep up to date with UON Alerts, UON COVID-19 website and NSW Health information

Until further notice, if you are attending a placement in a:
  • HNELHD facility: you will be directed to Site-specific COVID-19 Checkpoint Screening;
  • CCLHD facility: you will be screened on day 1 of placement;
  • Information for other Sites, as well as detailed HNELHD & CCLHD advice, is available via your allocation in SONIAonline.

Clinical placement is an important part of the School of Health Sciences student experience, providing the real life practice essential to ensuring robust, well-rounded, job-ready graduates.
